The Elms is a lively neighborhood restaurant rooted in classic American cooking, born from seeking out the finest ingredients, sewn together with passion and care. We make almost everything in-house, with a focus on minimal waste and local sourcing of seasonal ingredients from New Hampshire based farmers, ranchers and fishers aligned with our values of sustainable, planet-friendly practices. We live by the ethos of taking what we do seriously, not ourselves, through warm hospitality and friendly people serving friendly people. We believe we can make the world a better place by bringing our communities together over great food, great drinks, and great friends.

Our approach starts with sourcing the finest ingredients first and then letting them shine. We believe “there are no small parts.” Every ingredient deserves its time in the spotlight! Each component should pop, while the dish strives to be even greater than the sum of its parts. Our farmers, ranchers, and fishermen are our superheroes. Origin stories matter. Local, Sustainable, Organic are the measuring stick. Zero waste is the goal. Our menu balances familiar with the unexpected, embracing untraditional takes on traditional fare. Vegan, Vegetarian, Pescatarian, Gluten Free and Dairy Free options are always available, and all dietary restrictions are accommodated whenever possible.
Beverage Program
At The Elms, we take our drinking seriously! Our cocktail program has a healthy respect for the perfectly executed classic cocktail while taking equal joy in experimenting with new flavor combinations for something altogether unexpected. A robust and ever growing back bar of spirits is ready to scratch any itch. Rotating local microbrews by draft, can, and bottle feature some of New England’s finest. Our sommelier driven wine list is a balance of old world and new, featuring wines ranging from California and the Pacific Northwest to hard-to-find selections from western Europe, South America, and beyond, changing with the seasons and dinner offerings to always provide the perfect pairing for your evening.

The Elms is the perfect place for events both intimate and grand. Bridal and baby showers, birthdays, celebrations of life, wedding receptions, family get togethers, office parties, business meetings or just an excuse to bring your friends together for a good time, The Elms accommodates private parties in our Ivy Room, or full restaurant buyouts for up to 130 people seated.
